Baby on Board

As many of you may know Jake and I are expecting our first baby 8-5-2014! We are SO excited to be expanding our family and can't wait to be parents.

Here is our Journey thus far...

5 Weeks (Found out about baby 3 days prior to this trip to Chicago for our good friends 30th Birthday Party)

  

9 Weeks (The sickness has begun)


14 Weeks (Still not feeling great)

18 Weeks (In Kansas City for the ISU Bball Tournament with great friends, spent the day in between games at the Brewery and KC Zoo)

19 Weeks (starting to get Lolo involved)

20 Week appointment - It's a BOY! (I was sick here so forgive the good looks!)

20 Weeks - Celebrating our Lil Man with the Johnson Family at DMG & CC - Yum!

33 Weeks (At my Family & Friend Baby Shower thrown by Kaleigh and Morgan <3 - I will post about that separately)

And so, As the pictures become less and less flattering and we finalize the little man's nursery and prep for his arrival - please expect to see less of me and more of Jake/Lolo, the baby room and in 35 days the lil man himself!

Jake's first IRONMAN!

Jake has been training for over a year now for his first IRONMAN! After 17 Marathons in 15 states, countless shorter run-races, and many triathalons I would say he is ready for the big time!

I am excited to announce the kick off of our family blog - The Johnson Journal!
We plan to use this as a way for family and friends to keep up with our expanding family and share many pictures in one place versus many texts and emails :)

Our Wedding Day - August 2, 2008

As many of you know, I am Meredith - the soon to be Mama to one growing (in my belly still) little boy, and current Mama to our sweet baby girl Boxer puppy Lolo! I love all things makeup! I enjoy sewing and I used to call myself crafty :) Oh and of course I love to shop and hang out with friends and family.

Jake, my dashing hubby is a Marathoner, Triathlete and soon to by IRONMAN and Daddy! Jake loves me, Lolo and all things Running, Swimming and Biking. Oh and his book collection is ridiculous. I think you could call him a life long learner.

Lolo is the most amazing, sweet and loving dog in the whole world! She may be the most featured on here (until the arrival of Baby) because she is just so adorable! We are so lucky to have her in our family. I can't wait to see her interact with our lil man!

Over the coming weeks and months, we will share baby updates, new house posts, lot's of Lolo, updates on Jake's races & his first IRONMAN and of course the big event - Baby - Due August 5th!
